报告题目: Sub-threshold strangeness and charm production in UrQMD

I will discuss recent developments, in the description of sub-threshold strangeness and charm production, with the newest version of the UrQMD transport model. New measuremenst at the SIS18 collider have renewed the interest in sub-threshold particle production. Ecspecially the phi meson is of interest. The HADES experiement has measured a significantly enhanced phi/K^- ratio, questioning the paradigm that strangeness exchange is the dominant source of anti-kaons at these low energies. In our work we have implemented an effective, new direct, production channel for the phi meson, through the exitation and decay of a heavy baryonic state. Fitting the free parameter of the approach to elementary collisions we can nicely describe the HADES heavy ion data. We then extend our approach to make predictions on open and hidden charm production at the CBM@FAIR experiment.
